Faytina Beautiful Bald Eagle

Faytina Marie Beautiful Bald Eagle, 48, of Rapid City passed away, Saturday, April 23, 2011 at the Rapid City Regional Hospital.

Faytina Marie was born March 22, 1963 to Clarinda (Little Crow) Two Crow and David Beautiful Bald Eagle Sr. at Red Scaffold. She moved to Cherry Creek with the family where she attended Day School.

Marie moved to Rapid City and married John Smalls: from this union came Lea-Iyunski-win Smalls. She later joined Job Corp and that’s where she met Sherman Alexander Sr. whom she married. From this union came Sherman Alexander Jr. She then had two more boys: Justis Beautiful Bald Eagle and Wapila Beautiful Bald Eagle whom are raised by her parents David and Josee Beautiful Bald Eagle. Marie then moved to Rapid City where she spent the remainder of her life.

One of the highlights of her life was when she was a member of the Cherry Creek fast pitch baseball team. Her notable role was the catcher. She worked as a Certified Nurses Aid for awhile in Rapid City and held other various jobs. Maries’ love of laughing and teasing kept everyone’s spirits high when you were down. Her kindness and willingness to help will be greatly missed by her family and friends.

Marie is survived by her mother Clarinda Two Crow; Father: David (Josee) Beautiful Bald Eagle Sr.; her children: Lea Iyunski-Win Small, Sherman Alexander, Justis and Wapila Beautiful Bald Eagle; her siblings: Kathy Quickly, Sandra Beautiful Bald Eagle (John-Luke) Flying Horse, David Dakota Beautiful Bald Eagle, Jr., Phyllis Beautiful Bald Eagle (Amos) Cook, Lloyd Beautiful Bald Eagle, Floyd Hart (Cora Lana McCloskey), Florence Beautiful Bald Eagle, Luc Francois, Ines Beautiful Bald Eagle (Chris) White, Eve Beautiful Bald Eagle (Brent) Vavra, Remi Beautiful Bald Eagle, Kili (Dezi) Beautiful Bald Eagle, Dayneta Beautiful Bald Eagle (Chris Ravens Head), Zizi Beautiful Bald Eagle (Leroy) Green, Roberta Beautiful Bald Eagle, Mary Black Bonnett (Richard) Artichoke, and Joseph Beautiful Bald Eagle; her Hunka brothers and sisters: Jay Red Hawk, Amber Lopez (David) Camble, Manita Bald Eagle, Labree Bald Eagle Dooley, Zeno Little Sky and Family and Pat Little Sky and Family; her uncles, Taylor Beautiful Bald Eagle and Curtis Beautiful Bald Eagle; and many numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

She was preceded in death by one brother, Sylvan “Scooter” Brown Beautiful Bald Eagle and one sister, Marlene Cadotte Beautiful Bald Eagle.
