Berniece F. Zuber, age 94, of Sartell, MN, died Wednesday, July 16, 2008 at the St. Cloud Hospital.
Memorial services were 10:00 a.m. Saturday, July 20, 2008 at Luce Funeral Home in Gettysburg with Rev. Suzie O’Connell officiate. Burial was in the Gettysburg City Cemetery. Friends called one hour prior to the services Saturday at the Luce Funeral Home.
Berniece was born July 3, 1914 in Redfield, SD to Adam & Silvia (Mullett) Jaragoske. She married Orville Zuber on July 10, 1937 in Washington. Berniece lived most of her life in South Dakota and moved to Sartell in 2000. She was a nurse’s aide at St. Mary’s Hospital in Pierre, SD and a member of the United Methodist Church in Agar, SD. Berniece enjoyed gardening, crocheting, playing cards, and was active at Country Manor. She was a caregiver and was an avid Twins fan.
Survivors include her daughters, Donna (Dennis) Kringen of Arizona City, AZ and Sheri (Jeff) Harris of Sauk Rapids; grandchildren, Farley, Greg, Monty, Kari, Amy, Kris, Chris, Jessica, Dennis, and Dale; and nineteen great grandchildren.
Berniece was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Orville on May 14, 2005; an infant son, Roger; son, Kenneth on June 25, 2007; granddaughter, Charlotte Deiter; brother, Robert Jaragoske; and an infant granddaughter.
