Christopher Chris Robert Swartz, 30, of Liberal, Kansas, died Sunday, August 29, 2010 as a result of an automobile accident. A memorial service will be held 1:00 pm Saturday, September 11 at the First Baptist Church in Miller with Rev. Kent Atkinson officiating. Christopher Robert Swartz was born July 11, 1980 to Robert and Marsha Swartz. He attended grade school in Salina, Kansas and Miller, South Dakota. He graduated from High School in Turpin, Oklahoma in 1998. On August 9, 2008 he married Ashlee Schmitzer at Liberal. He was employed as a pipeline construction worker for Meco Field Service.
He enjoyed golf, fishing and spending time with friends and family.
He is survived by he wife, three children, Quinton, Genevieve and Isabella Swartz all of Turpin, Oklahoma; his parents, Robert (Kathy) Swartz of Turpin and Marsha (Rodney) Davis of Miller; one brother, Brandon Kissick of Hawarden, Iowa; two sisters, Mikayla Davis and Shaney Davis of Miller; grandparents, Esther Blachford of Highmore, South Dakota, Delores Swartz of Wessington, South Dakota, Chuck and Nedra Jones of Loveland, Colorado; his Godparents Mark and Carolyn Stergionis.
He was preceded in death by a son, Christopher, grandfathers Norman Blachford and Charles Swartz; one aunt and one uncle.
