Grandma,
I wanted to write to you on how great of a woman I knew you were. I remember a time when it was just my dad, Elizabeth and me and you showed us girlshow to make crafts out of old magazines. We would make earing and necklaces. Also, you were the person who taught me how to crochet; with this skill I made my friends bracelets and rings. I still can remember when you made me chicken dumplings, homemade, I will honestly say that they tasted gross, but I ate them because you made them for me. Another food item that Elizabeth loved, I did not, was when you cooked orange peals and made ‘Orange Chips’. . . .just the sound of them makes me laugh. You always said girls needed to have a little attitude and everyone knew you always had a great upbeat personality. I cannot think of many people who did not like you. You always gave people the benefit of the doubt and tried to give helpful advice. I loved spending weekends with you when you lived in Redfield. I remember trying on your wigs and make-up and putting on fashion shows. You have always meant a lot to all of your grandchildren and I know you touched a lot of lives. I love and miss you. Luv, Julie (Byrum) Neuharth.
Peace be with you Mary.
We didn’t know Mary, but are good friends with our neighbor, Paul, who kept us informed about her health. We want to extend our sympathy to her family and friends.
I knew you when I dated your daughter Cindi Swaim, but that was way back in 1986. I knew Mike when he worked at the cabinet place and I knew David as we played music at the Sunset Pawn and made artistic ideas for Fenders (guitars). I also did the Jewelry by Marr logo and Excecutive Subs & Salads Neon and sprint car logos. Your daughter Cindy and I are still friends and Occasionally talk about the good ol' days. I see Sean and Amanda from time to time, I've partied with Cassie and she is still like a step daughter to me as well. I hope that life upstairs is as good as they say it is. Love and miss ya!
