I got to know ‘Bert’ while she was in the nursing home. She was a very special lady, and will be missed. My thoughts and prayers go out to all of her family.
I’ll always remember the trips to South Dakota with my folks, visiting Joe and Bert and seeing all the relatives. Glad my own family got to visit with Bert.
Our thoughts and prayers are with Aunt Bert’s Family. Have many cherished memories of your Mother and Dad. Was always a joy to visit them on our visits back to Miller. She always had a smile and welcomed visitors. God grant you comfort and strength in your time of need.

Our thoughts and prayers are with your family. Bert and Joe are now traveling together again in heaven.
I got to know Bert & Joe, when my dad, CW. Eschenbaum worked with Joe at the Miller Post Office. It was fun to go to the house & visit with them. Especially remember Joe working on repairing clocks. I am afraid that is an art lost. My Heartfelt thoughts & Prayers go out to you families. Shar
Sending prayers for peace and strength through your faith during.this time of loss.
Andy Donovan had stopped in New Braunfels about a week ago, and mentioned that Bert had passed on. I had a dream about a week prior to his visit with Bert, Mother, and the Schmidt siblings all together. Strange how some things happen and the timing of certain dreams.
To my cousins Jim, Pat, Jerry, and family my heart felt condolances for your loss.
Take Care Y’all,
J. Karlin
