Judson James “Jimila” Running Horse, 72, of Cherry Creek, SD passed away, Wednesday, October 14, 2015 at Rapid City Regional Hospital.

Funeral services were held at 10:30 a.m., MDT, Wednesday, October 21, 2015 at the UCC Church, Eagle Butte with Pastor Pauline Webb officiating. Burial followed in the UCC Cemetery, Bridger. Wake services were held at 7:00 p.m., MDT, Tuesday, October 20, at the UCC Church with a procession from the 4 mile corner at 5:00 p.m.

Judson James Running Horse was born January 21, 1943 at Bridger, SD to Judson and Goldie (Buffalo) Running Horse.

He is survived by the Strikes Enemy, Buffalo and Charging Crow families; Paul White Magpie and Frances Charging Cloud.

James was preceded in death by his parents; two daughters; his grandparents and nephew, PFC Sheldon Hawk Eagle.

Luce Funeral Chapel of Eagle Butte has been entrusted with James’ arrangements.
