Ron Siegling, 64, passed away unexpectedly April 6, 2016 at his home.

Funeral Services will be 10:30 am, Tuesday April 12 at Trinity Lutheran Church in Miller with Pastor Max Miller officiating.   Burial will be at 1:15 p.m. at Burdette Cemetery, rural St. Lawrence.  Visitation will be from 5:00 to 7:00, Monday April 11, 2016 at the Reck Funeral Home in Miller.

Ronald Arvy Siegling was born April 12, 1951 to Milo and Eunice (Ravenscroft) Siegling.  Ron grew up and lived his entire life in the Burdette Township.  He graduated from Tulare High School and attended school in Rapid City for welding.  On May 4, 1973 he married Monica Quitsch.  Together they raised their three children: daughter, Jo and sons, Kyle and AJ while working the family farm.  He taught his kids the importance of a strong work ethic and the importance of doing a job right.  Ron enjoyed hunting his land and having others, including his sons, hunt it every fall.  He also loved farm sales, gun shows, and talking about the old days.

Ron will be laid to rest on what would have been his 65th birthday. 

Survivors include his wife, Monica of St. Lawrence; and children: Jo (Kosta) Theodosopoulos of Minneapolis, MN, Kyle (Juanita) Siegling of Brush, CO, and AJ Siegling of Gillette, WY; sister, Mary Jane (Melvin) Davis of Phoenix, AZ; brother, Bruce (Bonnie) Siegling of Watertown; two grandchildren: Caleb and Rachel Siegling of Brush, CO; and many friends who will continue to share their stories and memories of Ron. 

Preceding him in death were his parents; and a sister, Gail.

Reck Funeral Home of Miller has been entrusted with Ron’s arrangements.
