So sorry to hear of Doris’s passing she was a very lovely lady and she will be missed very much. Our Deepest Sympathy Dr. Dick and Kathy Splichal
My thoughts and prayers are with you at this time of sorrow, with sympathy.
In honor of the amazing life of Doris Meriweather and special and wonderful faithful friend that she was to me and to all of our family throughout the years that we knew her. I am so sorry that I am not able to be there to help in celebrating her life and her love for God, her family, friends and all of the beauty of creation, as she would say every time I talked with her " I thank God for another day". I will be praying comfort and God’s blessings on all of her family and loved ones today as they gather for all the beautiful memories her life. Doris played an important role in my life for seven weeks in 2001 and as we crossed the Canadian American border together on her birthday, September 11, 2001, we shared some moments in history that neither of us would soon forget There are so many memories of Doris that I have stored in my heart and she was such a great example of living life to the fullest every day and enjoying the amazing mysteries of all the aspects of life. What a precious woman and I know how much she will be missed and also remembered for who she is. "He who dwells in the shelter of the Most High will rest in the Shadow of the Almighty" Psalm 91:1 Warm and caring wishes, Mariette McGrath
