On October 17, 1943, she married Nova Palmer and they moved to South Hand County, Rose Hill Township where they raised their three children: Gary, Janice “Peg”, and Ray.
Irene was a member of Rose Hill Church and later First Presbyterian Church in Wessington. In her free time, she was a member of the Rose Hill Pioneer Club and her hobbies was most all kinds of needle work especially embroidering towels which she gave for wedding presents. She also made birth samplers for her great grandchildren which numbered 15.
Nova and Irene retired and moved to Miller in 1992. Irene entered the Good Samaritan Society 2009. At the nursing home, she loved putting puzzles together, working on word books, and continued to embroider towels.

Sorry to hear of your loss she will be missed. Our Deepest Sympathy Dr. Dick and Kathy Splichal
My deepest sympathy to the family of my cousin, Irene. My last visit with Irene was in 2014 when I was in Miller. I still remember fondly the family get-togethers when I was a child and much later the Moller reunions in Wessington.
And the angels said" come sing with us " So she did leaving our world a little darker but the heavens much brighter. Many memories of the beautiful mother. Know you are in our thoughts at this time. Bob and Bonnie Martens
Gary and Connies. Thoughts are with you.
Our sincere sympathy to your family. My dad, Rennald, who is Irene’s cousin and very close in age to her, spent time together growing up and sharing Moller grandparents at Wessington. I also remember babysitting the Scott girls a few times when they lived on HWY 14 near Wessington. My thoughts and prayers are with all of you.
Always enjoyed visiting with Irene.
I am so sorry for your loss. You are in my prayers.💟
