Randy Peck, 53, of Sioux Falls, passed away Monday, December 19, 2016 at his home.

Funeral service was held at 11:00 a.m., Friday, December 23, 2016 at the Harrold Auditorium in Harrold with Pastor Roger Day officiating. Burial followed at the Medicine Hills Cemetery in Harrold.

Randy was born May 21, 1963 to Floyd and Linda (Galinat) Peck in Pierre, South Dakota. As a young child, Randy helped his father with construction. After the passing of his parents, being the oldest of five children, he took on the responsibility of raising his younger siblings. He graduated from Harrold High School in 1981. Randy went on to attend Springfield College and later graduated from S.D.S.U. in Economics.

During the summers in his younger years, Randy worked for the State of South Dakota. After college, he was employed by Jordan Millwork for 18 years; earning numerous top salesman awards. Most recently, he was employed by Lowe’s in Sioux Falls.

In his free time, Randy enjoyed cooking, Nebraska Cornhusker football, and on-line shopping.

Survivors include his siblings: Cindy (Kevin) Baloun of Highmore, Ricky Peck of Decatur, AL, Joy (Carl) Colson of Blunt, and Steve (Jackie) Peck of Prosper, TX; five nephews; five nieces; one great nephew; and one great niece.

He was preceded in death by his parents; maternal grandparents, Joe and Alice Galinat; and paternal grandparents, Julia and Everett Moore.

Luze Funeral Home of Highmore has been entrusted with Randy’s arrangements.

A Graveside Service was held on December 23, 2016 at 12:00 PM at Medicine Hill Cemetery, 109 South Wyman Avenue in Harrold, South Dakota 57536
