LeRyah Vinae Clown was born on March 10, 2017 to Randee LaClaire and Floyd Clown Jr. at Sanford Hospital in Sioux Falls, SD.

Our princess was here a short time but we cherished every moment with her. Watching her grow each day was a blessing. She brought joy to us and others. She recognized our voices and faces, and knew the difference between her bottle and pacifier. She would always spit her pacifier out and want her bottle. LeRyah liked taking baths, and she was always calm when she did. She liked it when her little feet were rubbed. She disliked it when her daddy tickled her little hands and little feet. She would pull her hands away and kick her feet and give him a mean look. She also disliked when people touched her hair.

LeRyah Vinae Clown is survived by her mommy, Randee LaClaire; daddy, Floyd Clown Jr.; sister, Hezekyah Rose LaClaire; brother, Zion James LaClaire; grandparents: Daren LaClaire Sr. of Cherry Creek, Germaine LaClaire of Sioux Falls, Floyd Clown Sr. of Iron Lightning, and Karen Little Wounded of Dupree; uncles: Daren LaClaire Jr. and Tyson LaClaire of Cherry Creek, Michael LaClaire and Trevor LaClaire of Sioux Falls, Kyle Clown and Ptan Clown of Rapid City, and Michael Little Wounded of Dupree; auntie, Kacie Clown of Dupree; great grandparents: Linda Marrowbone and Pauline Eagle Chasing of Cherry Creek, and Ernestine Frazier of Rapid City.

She is preceded in death by her brother, Christopher James LaClaire; uncle, LeRoy Vincent LaClaire Sr.; and numerous other relatives.

  1. A Message to LeRyah’s family: I’m so sorry to read of the loss of your baby. The death of a child can be one of the most difficult things to endure. Fortunately in the bible at Revelation chap 21 verses 4-5 Almighty Gods promises an end to all sickness, death and pain. This promise will become a reality when Gods Kingdom rules this earth as it does heaven. So while your time with LeRyah was far to short, remember the promises of the God who can’t lie, and pray for Gods Kingdom to Come. I’ll pray for your family.
