Raymond Marks, Jr., 53, of Sioux Falls and formerly of Fort Thompson, passed away Sunday, December 31, 2017 at his home.
Funeral service was held at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, January 9, 2018 at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Fort Thompson. Burial followed at St. Catherine's Cemetery in Big Bend. Two night wake services began at 8:00 p.m. Sunday, January 7 and Monday January 8, 2017, both at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Fort Thompson.

My sympathies to Raymond’s family and friends. My words are poor things to bring you comfort, but the scriptures in Revelation twenty one verses one through 4 says it very well. In fact it is a scripture we hear read at many funeral services. It tells us that there is coming a blessing from Jehovah, a new heavens and a new earth where sorrow, pain and death will be no more. My prayer is that you find comfort and hope in these words. Sally
