Beverly Biedenfeld

Beverly Jean Hagedorn Hutchinson Biedenfeld, 87, of Faulkton passed away Sunday, April 22, 2018 at Ipswich Care and Rehab.
A prayer service will be at 7:00 p.m., Friday, May 4, 2018 at the United Church of Faulkton. A memorial service will be 11:00 a.m., Saturday, May 5, 2018 at the church, with Rev. Bill Hoffman presiding. Private burial of her cremains will take place in the Faulkton Cemetery.
Beverly Jean Hagedorn was born July 15, 1930 to Herman and Etta Irene (Hopkins) Hagedorn. She attended rural country school, Faulkton High School graduating in 1948, and Aberdeen School of Commerce.
Following her education Bev taught at Baldwin School in Saratoga Township in 1948-49. On June 8, 1949 she was united in marriage to William J. Hutchinson and to this union seven children were born.
On April 2, 1983, Bev married Donald H. Biedenfeld, adding four step children to the family.
Throughout the years, Beverly has worked various jobs to include the Faulk County Memorial Hospital, the Faulkton Record, John P. Shirk Nursing Home and she also owned and operated the Fabric Inn and Our Closet. She was a lifetime member of the United Church of Faulkton.
Those left to cherish her life are her children: John (Debbi) Hutchinson, Jeanne (Barney) Lesselyoung, Marvin (Pam) Hutchinson, Peggy Speck (Kevin Mutsch), Lori Speck, and Jeffrey Hutchinson; step children: Dennis (Julie) Biedenfeld, Barb (Gene) Schaefers, Nancy (Warren) Schatz and Janet Poeppel; sister, Barb Cooper and many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; both husbands; daughter, Brenda Thares; grandson, Travis Speck; and sister, Belva Martchinske.
The family would like to thank the Ipswich Care and Rehab staff for the wonderful care they provided to Beverly.
Luce Funeral Home of Faulkton has been entrusted with Beverly’s arrangements.

She was a great person and a great soul mate for our father. Her gentleness will be missed.
