March 29, 1957 ~ December 3, 2018

Alma Lanette Woodford Roseland, 61, of Seneca, passed from this life Monday, December 3, 2018 at the Faulkton Area Medical Center.

At Alma's request, a private family service was held. Burial of her cremains took place in the Oakland Cemetery, Seneca, SD.

Alma Lanette Woodford was born March 29, 1957 in Bakersfield, CA of Christian faith.

In October of 2001, Alma met the love of her life, Loren Roseland. The two married February 14, 2004. For a city girl, she took right to ranch life. Everything from pulling calves out of the mud to changing the water pump on Loren’s tractor. She was a talented gardener and gifted chef. Alma looked forward to family gatherings to work cattle and hunt. The last time she hunted, she crawled with great discomfort to shoot a nice buck at 208 yards.

One of Alma’s greatest joys was her children, especially her grandchildren. No child ever left Alma not feeling special and loved. She was Grammie Gram to all. Alma had a great love for family and for life itself. Although cancer robbed Alma of a life she worked tirelessly to establish, she never quit.

Her memory lives on in her survivors: beloved spouse, Loren Roseland; sons: Christopher Kiley (Jessica) Cox of Rapid City and Gregory Roseland of Gettysburg; daughters: Michelle (Dustin) Clement of Box Elder and Angela (Andreas) Klippenstein of Rapid City; grandchildren: Christopher, Annica and Adrian Cox, Ryder Roseland, Dominic, Isaac, Gabrielle and Patrick Clement, and Loren and Vivian Klippenstein; three sisters: Vickie McCauley, Carol Schilling, and Trish Watson; and one brother: Michael Woodford.

She was preceded in death by her parents; two sisters, and one granddaughter, Alexys Becker.

Luce Funeral Home of Gettysburg has been entrusted with Alma’s arrangements.
