  6. I always enjoyed visiting with Marie growing up. Whether it was at the old Jenson Hotel or in Luverne for ThanksGiving.

    Isaiah 40:18-31

Do you not know? Have you not heard? The Lord is the everlasting God, the Creator of the ends of the earth. He will not grow tired or weary, and his understanding no one can fathom. He gives strength to the weary and increases the power of the weak. Even youths grow tired and weary, and young men stumble and fall; but those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint

  7. Marie was such a dear and caring friend to our mother Gwen Lesselyoung. They spent many hours together
driving as many places as their cars would go and laughing all the way.

As we grew up living next door it was like having two homes because Marie was always there and available with praise and snacks.

She was a lovely and special lady. My condolences to the family.

  8. So many fond memories and time spent with Grandma Shaw growing up. She was such a joy to be around, to play cards with and to talk with. So glad she was a big part of the Jenson extended family.
    Peace

  9. To Marie’s Family,

You are all in our thoughts and prayers as you celebrate the life of such a wonderful woman. I always enjoyed talking to Marie at our family gatherings and was lucky that she treated me just as she would her own grandkids! Her memorable laugh and voice will surely be missed.

    God Bless,
    Love,
    Jess, Tim and Peyton

  10. We will all miss Marie. She had a great smile and was always eager to get caught up with family members and friends when she saw them at family gatherings. My sons and I enjoyed nice visits and donuts with Dale and Marie at the SD Fiddlers’ Contest for many years. And when I came to Faulkton the day our mom died – it was Marie who got me off the bus to meet the sorrow that waited us there. Thanks, Marie

  11. I got to know the Shaw’s when I worked as a dispatcher at the sheriff’s office with Dale. I remember them always going to the SD Fiddlers every year and the memories he shared.

    My sympathy to the family.

  12. My prayers are with you at this difficult time. Marie was such a central part of my memories in Faulkton. Donna

  13. We were so sorry to see about the death of your Mom….It was always so fun to visit with her when we came home and saw her. We are sure all your great memories will help ease your sorrow. In deepest sympathy. Dan and Barb Duncan

  14. She was a great cook and a friend to all at the Cresbard Hotel so many years back. She knew and remembered everyone even when she left town. Larry and Janeen Meier
