That familiar scent, fresh cut grass, rain, perfume, cookies baking, whatever the scent that brings you comfort; a certain movie, streetlight or song on the radio that brings you home; a reving engine, a boisterous laugh, a bear hug, that warms your soul; that’s my Aunt Loretta. You can’t look at her photo without feeling that warm comfort of being home. I know she’s with her loving husband, her parents, my Dad & so many others that are welcoming her home. Keep the music on Auntie, keep dancing, we’ll be home soon.
Lee, Sorry to hear of your Sisters passing. We recently had conversation she was your last surviving sibling. I know this will be a tremendous loss for you and children/grand children. May you find comfort in many memories!
Aunt Loretta, your beautiful smile will be forever missed. You and Uncle Ervin were a perfect match. You both were beautiful souls with infectious laughter. You were always kind & made me feel loved. Thank you!
