Phillip Macsisak died on Feb. 16, 2010 in Portland, OR following a lengthy illness.
A graveside service were held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, May 15, 2010 at the Gettysburg Cemetery with Pastor Don Watt officiating, under the direction of Luce Funeral Home of Gettysburg.
He married Connie Rogers in Gettysburg, SD in 1957. Phil was an electrician and also the Chief of Police in Gettysburg, SD in the 1960s. They moved their family to Albany, OR in 1966 where Phil worked as an electrician in one of the large hospital’s there. In 1986 they moved to Portland, OR.
His wife Connie died in March of 2005, after they had enjoyed 48 years together. Phil enjoyed painting, fishing, golf and football.
He is survived by his two sons Edward of Olaha, OR and Jamie of Portland, OR, three grandchildren all of Olaha, OR, sister-in-law Lola Russell of Gettysburg, SD and two nephews and one niece.
Luce Funeral Home of Gettysburg has been entrusted with Phillip's arrangements.
