Bernadine Hawk Eagle, 69, of Eagle Butte, entered the spirit world Monday, October 26, 2020 at Monumental Health, Rapid City.
Private burial services will be held on Wednesday, November 4, 2020, at Black Hills National Cemetery, Sturgis.
Bernadine is survived by her husband, Benjamin Hawk Eagle, Jr.; children: Willis, Thomas and Sammi, Lenora, Brandon, Francine and Corey, Frankie, Matilda and Rocky Vrooman; grandchildren: Judson, Ben, Tommy, Harlee, Louie, Lance, Hunter, Dexter, Tien, Unique, Tucker, Jauslen, Jjavon, Mia, Hayden, Rock, Tayababy, Camren, Jozee, Lia, Lacy, Macy, Bodes, Beans, LeRoy; great grandchildren: Jiles, Syncere, Aubrielle, Mila; and siblings: Bernard (Andy) Strikes Enemy, Jr., and Ina and Barb Strikes Enemy.
Luce Funeral Home of Gettysburg has been entrusted with Bernadine’s arrangements.

Bernadine was a kind and thoughtful individual. I am shocked to hear of her death. Thank you for always asking about me while I was in the service. Thank you for being a good friend to my mom. Rest in Peace Fern. 🙁
Bernadine, I'm going to miss you. I really got to know my cousin when we worked at the Dorm together. I remember we had a workshop and they asked each of us, who was the kindest person we knew? I said Bernadine,
because she was kind, loving, caring,
humble, and would never want to hurt anyone. I LOVE Her and will Miss her.
