Jonni met Leonard Traversie and to this union three children were born: Lenni Traversie, Donni Traversie, and Dupree Traversie. Later she married Jerry Curley and with this union came two daughters: Jerri Curley and Grayslyn Curley.

Jonni had a unique sense of humor and would often have everyone she encountered laughing, always having something off the wall to say. Jonni had a heart of gold and always had a home cooked meal and an open door for those in need. Jonni was the CRST Rodeo Queen two years in a row. She loved watching horse races, especially the Indian Relays. Jonni also loved to attend powwows with her mother to watch her three oldest children dance. Her passions were gardening and dehydrating meat and vegetables.

Jonni will be deeply missed and loved by her special friend, Cleveland “CJ” Buckman Jr.; children: Lenni Traversie, Donnie Traversie, Dupree Traversie, Jerri Curley, and Grayslyn Curley; grandchildren: Emily, Cloe, Cullin, Mia, Mikia, Marley, Saraphine, Akius, and Amira; sisters: Shirley Dupris, Janis Claudson, Daniel Marie Smout, and Cheryl Dupris; brothers: Scott (Sara) Dupris and Carl (Rhonda) Dupree.
