Baby Niylah Condon’s mother, Tyra Noisy Hawk, found out she was expecting Niylah on September 26, 2020, with Niylah’s father, Joe Condon, Jr., and Talia Noisy Hawk by her side. Her parents were very happy and blessed and decided to name their baby girl Niylah Ember Condon. Ember, her middle name, is shortened for September as that’s when her parents found out they were expecting. Hearing her first heartbeat was beautiful and heartwarming and filled them with happiness.

As the months went by, she grew, and began to kick and move around in her mom’s tummy. When they were at prenatal checkups, they could see her move and jump around and would laugh as they watched her. The nurses said that she may come out running when she is born. Weeks later, at the end of February, Tyra began having contractions and they knew she would come early.

Niylah was born into this world on March 6, 2021 at 10:56 p.m. at Avera McKennan Hospital.  Hearing her first two cries was a feeling of joy.  They finally were able to see her and hold her hands. Her family watched her gain weight, growing and improving every day. It was a lovely moment when they were finally able to hold her in their arms. Holding her up to her mother and father’s chest and putting a soft blanket over her is a wonderful memory. Another precious memory was dipping a Q-tip in her mother’s milk and watching her suck on it.  When they would stop, she would cry for more. Her mommy would sing to her and read books to her. She would get very comfortable on her mommy’s chest and fall asleep while hearing her mommy’s voice. When her daddy would talk to Niylah, she would babble back to him and smile. Her parents loved caring for her whenever they got the chance. Niylah would wake up late at night and look around to see if they were still there.  When her parents had to leave, they would tell her, “See you tomorrow, have sweet dreams, God loves you.” They were able to watch her on the camera when they couldn’t be with her.

She was a very sweet baby who loved her mommy and daddy a lot, and they love her very much also. She had to leave them too early.  She will be missed greatly by her parents and family. May Niylah rest in peace.
