Thinking of you and your family.
Thinking of you and your family, Corey. Much love from the Allens.
I'm so sorry to hear of Ai's passing.
I worked with Al while he was the Fire Management Officer for the Black Hills National Forest. At that time, I was a young fire management forester trying to learn my trade while working for Custer State Park. I'll always be grateful to Al for the advice and guidance he gave me during those years. I have truly fond memories of the wildfires I was on with him, attending the many fire classes he taught and listening to the advice he gave.
Dick Sparks, Fire Management Forester, Custer State Park (Retired)
Sending love and prayers to the Braddock family during this difficult time. I'm sorry for your loss.
Good bye my friend. One of my fondest memories is of you and Gertie at a training with the Box Elder Job Corps. You always stuck up for and took care of Mary and I in dispatch. You were a leader in the field of fire on the forest. I will never forget you being out on fires in your Nomex Chiquita banana suit. Many fire folks owe their knowledge of fire weather to your S-390 fire behavior class. You were a hard core instructor but boy, did we learn. I am glad that I knew and worked with you.
I worked in Fire Dispatch for the BHNF in Custer S.D. Al was my boss. He quickly became at the top of my list of favorite people. His no nonsense approach to correction and advise reminded me of my Father's. i am so very sorry for your loss…Al and all the memories will always have a special place in my heart.
