Victor Verdell St. John was born March 5, 1950, in Rosebud, South Dakota to Doris Katherine (Ree) St. John and Odell St. John, Sr.

Our father, brother, uncle, grandpa, great-grandpa, and relative has come from a very big family, so many loved and cherished him and his crazy jokes and sense of humor.  A quiet man but when he speaks from time to time his good sense of humor comes out. He always wanted people to just be happy as he would say and he would state, “Life is too short”.  We were not sure what he was feeling deep down but he would always think of others. Victor was and still is a strong spirit man.  He has faced many challenges in life, especially after returning home from Vietnam. This is when his life changed.  Most of all, he kept surviving for his beautiful children, grandchildren, great grandchildren and his family that he loved so dearly. He will truly be missed but will always be cherished and remembered in our hearts.

Survivors include his children: his daughters: Tina, Tracy, Nicole, Cherish; sons: Derek and Victor Jr.; grandchildren and great grandchildren: Milton Kim and Angel Warrior Summers, Caspen, Aspen, Gracie St. John, Chris, Jr., James, Ashlyn Two Bears, Gina, and Montclair; his siblings: brothers: Emery & Gwen of Fargo, ND, Odell, James, Kelly of Ft Thompson, Kevin and Kathy of Rapid City; sisters: Sandra and Phelix Sepulveda of California, Mary Hoisington, Brenda, Glenda all of Ft Thompson, Bonnie Fae of Big Bend; nephews: Valdon and Dulce of Dickinson, ND, Jerry and Jay of Cherry Creek, Jessie, John, Matthew, Lakota Sepulveda of Ft.
