Carol Williams

Carol A. Williams, 75, of Miller, passed away Monday, September 5, 2022, at the Good Samaritan Society in Miller.

Memorial service will be 2:00 p.m., Friday, September 9, 2022, at the First Presbyterian Church, Miller, with Rev. Janice Palmer officiating.  Burial will follow at the St. Lawrence Cemetery.  Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. 

Carol Williams was born May 5, 1947, in Miller, SD to Percy and Lily (Marshall) Williams.  She lived in Miller and Huron.

Carol worked for the Miller School District in the Elementary School Library, Hand County Library, and various other jobs.  She loved reading, attending concerts of the Huron Concert Association and attending plays.  She also enjoyed spending time with friends and family.  Carol will always be remembered for her wonderful cooking.

She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Miller, where she held the treasurer position, deacon and trustee. Carol was also a member of the American Legion Auxiliary #38 in Miller.

She is survived by her two brothers: Lyle (Pamela) and Ronald (Marilyn); one sister, Nancy; one aunt, Evelyn Marshall; one niece, Julie Taylor; three nephews: Corey, Eric, and Dustin Williams; two great nieces: Jennifer and Jannelle Kenaston; one great nephew, Joshua Williams; one great niece, Lyla Dahl; and numerous cousins.

She was preceded in death by her parents.
