Anthony W. Brooks, 59, CRST Tribal Member, passed away Monday, November 7, 2022, at his home in Mira Loma, CA.
Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. MDT, Thursday, December 1, 2022, at St. John’s Episcopal Church, Eagle Butte. Burial will follow in St. Paul’s Episcopal Cemetery, LaPlant. Wake services will be 5:00 p.m., Wednesday, November30, 2022, at the church.
Anthony Wayne Brooks was born May 9, 1963, in Pittsburgh, PA, to James Hector Brooks, Sr. and Lois Maxine Spotted Bear.
Anthony is survived by his two children: Anthony Brooks, Jr. and Marquita Brooks of Riverside, CA; sisters: Marion Walker of Pittsburgh, PA and Joanne Tynes of Denver, CO; brothers: Gary Brooks of Pittsburgh, PA and Joey Brooks of Riverside, CA; and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, James Hector, Jr.
Anthony’s memory will be cherished by all who knew him.
Luce Funeral Home of Gettysburg has been entrusted with Anthony’s arrangements.
