Arleen “Tina” Kay Danielson was born on February 7, 1957, to Lawrence and Helen (Chytka) Hrdlicka in Miller, SD. Tina grew up on a farm by Miller and graduated from Miller High School in 1975. She went on to attend Lake Area Technical Institute for Dental Assisting. During her time at Lake Area, she met and married Charlie Miller on June 3, 1978, in Onida. To this union two children were born, Scott and Laura.
She began her career in dental assisting, working at Delta Dental in Pierre for many years and later various businesses in Miller. Tina was a dedicated employee at Kesslers in Miller, receiving employee of the year. She was recognized many times for how wonderful the produce section was at the store and was very proud of that.
Years later, she bumped into her old high school sweetheart and married Bob Danielson on September 18, 1999, and the two resided on a farm by Ree Heights, South Dakota.
Tina was a very hardworking, extremely talented person, winning awards for her sewing. She had many animals she cared for, grew beautiful flowers, and had a bountiful garden each year. Much of her summers were either spent outside in the garden or inside canning what she picked from it. Her pickles will be missed by many!
Thankful to have shared in her life are her husband, Bob; children: Scott Miller of Wessington Springs and Laura (Thad) Jacobson of Florence; grandsons: Colin and Devin Jacobson; sisters: Jean Myears of Greenridge, MO, Sharon Davis of Rockham, Linda (Richard) Clark of Gettysburg, and Diane (Tim) Goetz of Miller; and brother, Robert Sell of St. Lawrence.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents; parents; sister, Shirley Peterman; brothers: Larry Sell and Ed Sell; and brothers-in-law: Lloyd Myears and Jim Davis.
Reck Funeral Home of Miller has been entrusted with Tina's arrangements.

Thoughts and prayers
I loved whenever Tina called into RDW to order for Kesslers. She always had stories about her kids and grandkids to share with me in our quick phone calls. She was always so upbeat and quick to laugh. Rest is your well deserved peace, Tina.
Tina was one terrific person. I got to know her when she was a cook at Lips Dining Center – she made the best Patty Melts of anyone. Then I worked with her later at Tucker's Super Value and she was so much fun to work with. She will be missed by many. I'll always remember the fun we had at Tuckers. My thoughts are with her family. You will be missed Tina.
Deepest condolences to all of the Danielson family. Tina will be missed by all who knew her. We are keeping you all in our thoughts and prayers. God Bless you all!
Sorry to hear about your wife Dan
I am so sorry for your loss. Arleen and I were good friends in high school and had just recently reconnected. When talking again we took up right where we had left off in 1975. My sincere sympathy in the loss of a wonderful person who I will always remember as a great friend.
