Davyn Micah Ray LeBeau was born October 9, 2004 at 11:39 p.m., in Pierre, SD to D’Ann Nicole LeBeau and Arnold “Pookie” Provancial.
Davyn attended preschool and elementary school in Pierre, SD, where he participated in soccer and Little League Baseball. Davyn was very active at the YMCA where he learned to swim. At the age of eight years old Davyn had his first job delivering the Pierre Reminder while pulling them in his wagon. He returned to Eagle Butte at the age of 11.
Davyn Micah Ray enjoyed numerous activities such as fishing, swimming, dirt bike riding, archery, and just being outside. He attended South Dakota Youth Camp (SDYC) every summer, joined the Horsemanship Club, and then he found his love for basketball and football. Davyn played for CEB his junior high and high school years, where the #40 jersey was his favorite, as it was his big brother/cousin, East Lee’s number, and then his number became #24. His biggest supporter from the time he was born was his lala D, his Grandpa Daryl LeBeau.
Davyn’s love was radiant, as it showed for his brother Dominik and baby sister D’Kiera West. He was a big brother to Ayden Larrabee and little brother to Jada Scott, and he showed the utmost love any brother could. He carried not only his little brother and baby sister around on his shoulders, but also Kobi Karter and Tomi Kael.
Davyn is survived by his mother, D’Ann LeBeau; father, Arnold Provancial; sisters: D’Kiera West and Jada Scott; brothers: Ayden Larrabee and Dominik West; uncles: Samuel LeBeau Sr., Casper Ducheneaux, and Jack Heideman; aunts: Shannon (Jack) Heideman and Sherri Turning Heart; grandparents: Ina Rae LeBeau, Arlene Pretty Weasel and Tom Lickness, Clara LeBeau, Brenda Scott and Fred Scott, Florence Halfred, Raylene High Elk, Arlys Bagola, and Stuart Turning Heart; cousins: Bryant, Ashton, and Ian Paul Heideman, Samuel Jr., Kalsey and Kiane LeBeau, Nevyn Mendonza, Noah Kennedy, Brandi Joy Grant, Tomi Kael Ducheneaux, and Charlie Afraid of Hawk.
He was preceded in death by his big brother, East Lee; maternal grandparents: Sullivan and Lillian (Shaving) LeBeau; and paternal grandparents, Beverly Scott and Grover Scott.
Luce Funeral Home of Gettysburg has been entrusted with Davyn’s arrangements.

I was privileged to get to have Davyn for many years at the South Dakota Youth Camp. Being the boys dorm leader allowed me to view Davyn was a vibrant and active young man, who enjoyed his peers and the camp. I am saddened at his loss and am praying for his loved ones.
I have worked the South Dakota Youth Camp for 14 years and was so glad to have Davyn be a part of this camp. He will be greatly missed. My prayers are with the friends and family at this time. God bless!!
