Memoree Jade LeBeau was born February 6, 1983, in Poplar, MT to Constance LeBeau. She received her grade school education at Eagle Butte, Mobridge, Aberdeen, and Timber Lake, later obtaining her GED and earned some college credits. She married Martin Chasing Hawk, divorcing a short time later.
Memoree lived in Eagle Butte, Salem, OR, and returned home from Seattle, WA with her fur puppy Paradise. She was a valiant and determined sweetheart who bravely fought cancer going on seven years as a strong Episcopalian and returned home to live peacefully.
Memoree was a smart girl, and left Beresford School District with a 4.0 grade average which inspired her to try many things: i.e. her hobbies etc. She had many talents such as sewing, knitting, painting, baking, beading, and decorating cakes, as well as her home, trying various recipes and enjoyed Mexican and Oriental dishes. She loved walking around with her Paradise. She enjoyed traveling and talking about her adventures, especially to Grand River Casino. Memoree had a beautiful voice and loved to sing. She will be remembered for helping and sharing with others. She loved all her family members, praying daily for all of them. She had many friends, but had a very special one, Raina Simon who took her and Paradise to Sioux Falls many times—what a kind and generous friend and neighbor for which we are grateful! Also, Marietta Janis was a close friend since high school days. We are grateful to Cherish, who spent many holidays with her, and her nurses, Betty and Kathy, were special to her.
Memoree is survived by her mom, Connie; stepfather, Joe; foster children: Lynell and Norma; sister, A’Layna; nephews: Andrew, Eli, Tuffy, Trey, and Al; niece, Amorette and Ella Ann; great niece, Adele; aunties: Lou, Angie, and Darla Strong Heart; uncles: Joe, Pat, Steve, and Dale Brown Wolf; cousins: Denise and family, Joe Jr/Tammy and family, Mark/Michon and family, Linda and family, Nancy and family, Dee and family, Wynn and family, Wally and Wade, Lawrence and family, Jarred and family, Ashley and family, Royce/Dawn, Leland and family, and her foster children.
Preceding Memoree in death were her loving family members: grandparents: Andrew and Emma LeBeau and Hattie Horn; aunts: Air Force Captain Cleo Burnette, Dottie LeBeau, and Colleen Brown Wolf; uncles: Air Force Staff Sargent Andy LeBeau Jr., Benny Brown Wolf, and Bobbie Sands; cousins: Andrew Thomas LeBeau, Wade J. Chase, Joseph Brown Wolf, Lester Peneaux, Lorna Brown Wolf, Frank Yellow, Raeanne Shaw; and welcoming her to Heaven with open arms was her younger sister, Amber Adele.
