Ezra Sage Circle Eagle (Waŋblí Hokšíla) was born still on Friday, January 5, 2024, at Monument Health, Rapid City, SD. Ezra was born to McKinzie Circle Eagle and Seth Chasing Hawk of Eagle Butte, and he was the twin brother to Estella Rose Circle Eagle.

Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. MST, Saturday, January 27, 2024, at the UCC Church, Eagle Butte. Ezra will be buried in the UCC Church Cemetery in Cherry Creek right between his Great Grandma Cecelia Circle Eagle, and Grandma Marilyn Circle Eagle.

Ezra is survived by his mother, McKinzie Circle Eagle of Eagle Butte, SD; father, Seth Chasing Hawk of Eagle Butte, SD; sister, Elora Ann Knight, and twin sister, Estella Rose Circle Eagle; cousins: Noah and Danny Circle Eagle, Cassidy, Jaden, and Evan Hollow Horn; loving aunts: Katee Circle Eagle, Quinn Grace O’Rourke, Charlee Jo O’Rourke, Arianna Jedlicka, Cheyenne Jedlicka, and Stacyn Guggolz; uncle, Kobey O’Rourke; grandparents: Kristy O’Rourke, Sam O’Rourke, Willie Circle Eagle, Kris Chasing Hawk, Steven Jedlicka, Beverly Clown, Helene Circle Eagle, Joy Circle Eagle, and Velma Kills Back; great grandparents: Mary Marshall, Shannon Jewett, Barb LaPlante, Constance Chasing Hawk, Lucinda Chasing Hawk, and Bernice Chasing Hawk.

Ezra was preceded in death by his great grandparents: Cecelia and Bevin Sr. Circle Eagle and Orville LaPlante; grandparents: Bevin Jr. Circle Eagle, Robert Circle Eagle, Marilyn Circle Eagle, Peggy Knife, Jolene Chasing Hawk, and Stacy Chasing Hawk; cousins: Mary Knife, and Bryanna Ducheneaux Clown. 

We will continue to look for you in all the eagles we come across, and all the beautiful sunsets we see. You are loved more than you will ever know. Rest beautifully, my baby boy.

Tho I do not know this family, I offer my prayers and heartfelt condolences in the loss of their little twin son, Ezra Circle Eagle at birth.  Tho it was a tragic loss to the family, Heaven gained a little Warrior to serve and protect our Loving God’s domain, and one day you all will be united in eternal happiness.  May God keep you in His Care, His Comfort, and in His Mercy.
