Eugene Joseph Frasier was born March 12, 1939, in Faulkton, SD to Walter J. and Madeline (Lenhoff) Frasier. He attended school at Orient before being called home to help on the family farm due to his father’s health.

Eugene married Cherry Herman on September 26, 1960, at St. Thomas Catholic Church in Faulkton. They made their home in rural Faulkton, where they raised their four children: Tannia, Darla, Dale and Jayme.

Eugene was born with an engineer’s mind and was always looking for his next project. He attended welding class and became an excellent welder. He made everything he needed and fixed everything he had. You can still see evidence of his handy work all around the farm.

Family was everything to Eugene, where the door was always open. He loved to always tell them, “Take your time going, but hurry back.”

Eugene’s life will forever be cherished by his wife, Cherry of Faulkton; children: Tannia (Kevin) Miller of Fargo, ND, Darla (Dave) Eichstadt of Huron, SD, Dale (Karen) Frasier of Spearfish, SD, and Jayme (Amie) Frasier of Faulkton, SD; grandchildren: Lucas (Kristi) and Ross (Nicole) Miller, Joe Wenzel, Briana (Adam) Okroi, Ryan (Becky) Eichstadt, Jamie (Spencer) White, Eric (Angela) Frasier, Sara (James) McCurdy, Brittney (Dally) Foster, Michael Frasier, Amanda (Zachary) Poole, Victoria (Richard) Hovdenes, Christina (Dillion) Smith, Chitra McDill, and Derick, Jordan, and Alex (Sadie) Frasier; great grandchildren: Jensen, Ledger, Knox, and Roman Miller, August and Jared Wenzel, Gianna, Julian, Sophia Rodriguez, Ellie, Eastyn and Jake Eichstadt, Hayden, Aspen, and Archer White, Eathen (Summer), Jace, BJ, Hunter, and Easton McCurdy, Rylan and Madaline Frasier, Cadence and Gunner Foster, Alaska Ryan and Grace Frasier, Koen and Eladie Poole, Harrison, Charlotte, and Natalie Hovdenes, Zoe McDill, Jordy, Jayda, and Franki Frasier; sister, Carol (Red) Fink of Zell; brothers and sisters-in-law: Gale (Holly) Herman of Minnesota and Glen Herman (Dion) of Astoria, OR; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his parents; siblings: Richard Frasier, Berniece Cuppy, Teresa Bach, Don Frasier, and Joyce Greiner.
