Taylor V. Bald Eagle Jr, 89, of Eagle Butte, passed away on the morning of Tuesday, March 25, 2025, at St. Alexius Hospital, Bismarck, ND. 

Funeral services will be 12:00 p.m. MDT, Tuesday, April 1, 2025, at CRST Bingo Hall, Eagle Butte. Burial will follow in St. Andrew’s Episcopal Cemetery, Cherry Creek. A wake service will be 7:00 p.m., Monday, March 31, 2025, at the hall with a procession from the 4-Mile at 4:00 p.m.

Taylor V. Bald Eagle was born October 21, 1935, in South Dakota to Taylor Bald Eagle Sr. and Zola White Feather.

Taylor is survived by his children: Taylor Bald Eagle III, Lenny Bald Eagle, and Frank Waters; grandchildren: Taylor IV, Eugene, Nolan, and Precious Bald Eagle, Max Blacksmith, and Alyssa Bearing; brother, Curtis Bald Eagle; and many nieces, nephews and cousins. 

He was preceded in death by parents; daughter, Sharon Naomi Bald Eagle; brothers: Dave, Enoch, and Buster Bald Eagle; and sisters: Violet Brave Heart and Phyllis Bald Eagle.   

Luce Funeral Home of Gettysburg has been entrusted with Taylor’s arrangements. 

A Wake was held on March 31, 2025 at 7:00 PM at CRST Bingo Hall, 916-934 Jefferson St, in Eagle Butte, SD 57625

  6. Condolences to the Bald Eagle family. Junior went to the Faith Schools for a while and played on the sports teams. RIP Junior.
