Nova Uses The Knife

Nova Grace Uses The Knife, precious baby of Shelby Uses the Knife of Eagle Butte and beloved sister to Lexi, Jr., Owen, and Sidney, was born in the arms of angels on Thursday, June 12, 2025, at 9:36 a.m., weighing 2 lbs, 5oz, and measuring 15 inches, at Avera McKennan Hospital, Sioux Falls. 

Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m.MDT, Tuesday, June 24, 2025, at The Lighthouse, Eagle Butte. Burial will follow in the Eagle Butte Cemetery.

Although Nova Grace never spent any time with us on earth, she was loved. Our little Angel will be missed.

Nova is survived by her mother, Shelby Uses The Knife; sister, Lexi Uses The Knife; brothers: Samuel, Owen and Sidney; grandparents: Billie Garreaux and Raymond Uses The Knife; along with numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.

She was greeted in heaven by her grandma, Mashawn Uses Many; cousin, Alex Anderson; and aunties, Chris Uses The Knife and Karlee Fast Wolf.

Luce Funeral Home of Gettysburg has been entrusted with Nova’s arrangements.
