Garland Maupin Jr., 39, of Bear Creek and Ridgeview, passed away Wednesday, January 28, 2026, at Cheyenne River Health Center, Eagle Butte.

Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. MST, Friday, February 6, 2026, at St. John’s Episcopal Church, Eagle Butte. Burial will follow in Bordeaux Family Cemetery, Ridgeview. A wake service will be 6:00 p.m., Thursday, February 5, 2026, at the church with a procession from the 4-Mile at 4:00 p.m.

Luce Funeral Home of Gettysburg has been entrusted with Garland’s arrangements.
