Henrietta Laundreaux, 80, of Eagle Butte, passed away Sunday, August 16, 2026, at Cheyenne River Health, Eagle Butte.
Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. MDT, Monday, August 24, 2026, at St. John’s Episcopal Church, Eagle Butte, SD. Burial will be in the St. Theresa’s Catholic Cemetery, White Horse.

Sorry to hear about your family loss. Our thoughts and prayers are with you at this difficult time. (My g-g-grandma was Mary (Laundeaux) Durfee from Rulo, Nebraska. She died before her mother Margaret (Hart) Laundeaux and her other 3 daughters made the trek from se Nebraska to the Rosebud where they established their Native American rights and were able to settle there. There are lots of their descendants living on the Rosebud & Lower Burke Reservations. I am a descendant of Margaret Leaundeaux. —Carl Durfee
