Alice Keller, 76, of Miller, passed away Saturday, October 9, 2021, at Avera St. Mary’s Hospital, Pierre.

A graveside service will be 11:00 a.m., Saturday, June 4, 2022, at the G.A.R. Cemetery, Rev. Janice Palmer, officiating.

Alice was born April 24, 1945, in Kenosha, Wisconsin to Elmer and Lillie (Brandtberg) Beck.  She grew up and attended school in Englewood, Colorado.  Alice met her future husband, Don Keller, in Denver.  Don and Alice were married on October 26, 1965.  Shortly after, they moved to South Dakota.  Don passed away July 5, 2009. 

Alice spent her entire career taking care of others.  She worked at the nursing home, home health care, and assisted living. 

She enjoyed drawing, playing the piano, camping, fishing, and most of all spending time with her family, friends, and dog, Tiger.

Alice is survived by her in-laws: Theresa Eschenbaum, Maxine Thompson, LuVay Carole, Keith (Pat) Keller, and numerous nieces, and nephews who loved her dearly. 

She was preceded in death by her husband, Don; parents; sister, Carol; and many in-laws.

Reck Funeral Home of Highmore has been entrusted with Alice’s arrangements.

A Graveside Service was held on June 4, 2022 at 11:00 AM at G.A.R. Cemetery, south Broadway Ave in Miller, South Dakota 57362

Our deepest condolences to Alice’s family.  She was one of a kind!  Such a wonderful, compassionate caregiver.  The Moncur family really appreciated her coming and just being a companion to our Mom Violet when she was having some health problems. I remember Alice telling us that it wasn’t a problem because she just had to walk across the alley and she was there!  We appreciated her kind help more than she’ll ever know.  Heaven gained a real angel when Alice walked through the pearly gates….May she RIP
