I will forever remember you as the hardest working, most dedicated, most inspirational, and a woman with the most beautiful soul I have ever known. What a great matriarch you were for us Grandma. We have lost an incredible woman down here, but God now has another Angel by his side. I love you so much.
my sympathies to all of her family
You were a wonderful Grandmother, always so generous to all your grandkids. I know you were ready to leave your worn out body and you are in good company up there, but the tears still flow. I love you Grandma.
jennifer and Suzanne are daughters of Ron Timm, son to Henry Timm. I knew Alice as my Grandma Alice. I have many fond memories of her. I corresponded with her via mail up until she could no longer write. I had always wondered where she was or how she was doing. I had wanted to go visit her for the past 2 summers, but never got around to doing so. She is now reunited with Hank May she rest in peace.
my memories of my grandma timm are many, starting when I was little & she worked at the chef café in huron. also she lived straight down the street from the state fair grounds & the state fair was a big deal back then & it was easy to get there from grandma timms house! another memory was that I was always amused when grandma would save & sell grocery bags back to the store for a penny or 2 lol. But that was the nature of grandma Timms character, frugal, conservitive and strick, that?s the way she lived her life! so we were all shocked later in her life, at one her many birthday celebrations , when my brother announced in front of everyone that grandma had gotten a speeding ticket, her reaction of visable embaressment was so cute & we all laughed, but I knew grandma was truly ashamed of it even though, us younger generation didn?t find it that serious. That was the only memory of a blemish on the remarkable christian life she lived!!!!! She set the bar high to live our lives by & we all knew we would hear a lecture (but not judgment) if we didn?t meet the standards she set by example, and her approval was important to us as we grew up!!!! her contributions to our family & the world were many, & our hearts are left with an emptiness with her passing!!!! We will miss her dearly but I am gratefull that the suffering in her last days are done, & shes at peace in the arms of our Lord. I LOVE you grandma Timm!!!!!
To all of the Speirs family,
I am so sorry to hear of Grandma Timm’s passing. She always made me feel welcome and part of your family. I will forever remember her laugh and smile. She was a truly tremendous lady. I will share memories of her with my children, two of her Great-Grandchildren. My Dad and brother are now angels and I am sure they will help her to feel welcome. May God help you find peace in your time of loss.
