Annette Hagen, 82, of Faulkton, passed away Saturday, February 23, 2008 at the Faulkton Area Medical Center.
A memorial service for Annette will be held at 10:00a.m., Saturday, March 29, 2008 at Orient Lutheran Church with Pastor Rob Nedbalek officiating. Burial of her cremains will be in the Prairie View Cemetery in Orient.
Annette Hagen was born April 26, 1925 to John Oscar and Anna (Haberling) Hagen near Orient, SD. She attended area schools and Northern Teacher’s college. She was a teacher and a gifted musician, playing the organ for Orient Lutheran Church for many years. She also spent time giving piano lessons.
She is survived by her sister Esther Weiss of Faulkton and many nieces and nephews.
Annette was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers: Oscar and Edward Hagen and three sisters: Minnie Simmons, Olga Aiken and Mary Bowar.
Luce Funeral Home of Faulkton has been entrusted with her arrangemetns.

The Hagen family has always been very special to me. Annette was the youngest and the closest to my age. I do remember many fun times with Annette. The Hagens were special cousins.
