Arlene Carr, 83, of Faulkton, SD passed away, Monday, September 13, 2021 at Cheyenne Mountain Center, Colorado Springs, CO.

Private burial will be held in the Faulkton Cemetery, Faulkton, SD.

Arlene Larson was born November 18, 1937 in Faulk County, Enterprise Township, South Dakota to Alvin and Loraine (Allbee) Larson.

While living in Faulkton she was a homemaker while raising her family. She also worked at the Snack Shop until she purchased the business. After selling the business, Arlene moved to Aberdeen where she spent 18 years as a foster grandparent for the YMCA daycare.

Arlene is survived by her children: Joy Davidson and Janet Ruffener of Fountain, CO and Judy Carr of Colorado Springs, CO; four grandchildren: Andrew Ruffener, Denver, CO, Nicholas Ruffener, Colorado Springs, CO, Skyylar Heath, Colorado Springs, CO, and Reggie Heath, Scottsdale, AZ; seven great grandchildren; and nine nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; one sister, Betty Jane Larson; and one brother, Roger Larson.  

Luce Funeral Home of Faulkton has been entrusted with Arlene’s arrangements. 

A Private Burial was held on September 18, 2021 at Faulkton Cemetery, south of Faulkton going towards Orient in Faulkton, South Dakota 57438

  2. Sorry to hear about your mother,We did a lot of snowmobiling together when your father was alive,and had a lot of fun together.We were good friends along with several other couples,who also enjoyed our time spend in the snow.God's Blessings.
