  1. My thoughts and prayers are with you, Arlys’ family. I got to know Arlys when Martin was a resident in our facility and during the time they were residents of the Oahe Villa here in Gettysburg where I am employed in Pastoral Care. Arlys was a lovely lady. God’s Blessings to all of you. Pat Rausch

I am so sorry to hear about Arlys passing away. I wish in my heart I could come home and be there but I am just getting back to being myself after having strep. I remember Arlys as a neat lady when I was growing up. I know she will be miss by all who knew her. The next time I am home I will call you when I come to Pierre.
I will send my prayers your way during this time of sadness. Your goddaughter and friend,

  3. Jon & Karen & Family,
Please accept our sympathies for the loss of your mom. We hope all the wonderful memories will out weigh the saddness you all feel now.

  4. My thoughts and prayers go out to the family of Arlys. I got to know Martin & Arlys when they lived in the Villa.I worked in housekeeping. Arlys & her sister Nohra were good friends of my aunt Elizabeth(Cooper)Boke. Arlys was such a mild mannered, easy to visit with person.Even with her poor eyesight she never complained.

  5. We are so sorry for your loss. You are in our thoughts and prayers.

    Deb and Alex Beres

  6. I lot of warm wishes and prayers extended southward today from our chapel family at the Chapel By the Sea. Nice video. Martin looked like he was sitting in the catbird seat in all those pictures with Arlys – obviously scored a lifelong keeper! And Arlys clearly produced a lot of girls with Big hair. Thank you, Arlys. God bless, see you soon!

  7. Barry Smith and families
