Arnold Clown, Sr., 71, of Dupree, died, Saturday, March 22, 2008 at Fort Meade VA Hospital.
Funeral service will be at 12:00p.m, MDT, Saturday, March 29 at St. Peters Episcopal Church in Thunder Butte. Burial will be in the church cemetery with Military Honors. Visitation will begin two hours prior to the service.
Arnold K. Clown, Sr. was born December 1, 1936 at Thunder Butte, SD to Raymond and Sarah (Marrow Bone) Clown. He was educated at Thunder Butte and the Old Agency. He enlisted in the United States Army from 1961 to 1963 where he served as a male nurse service man in Ft. Lewis, Washington and Missouri. Upon returning from his service time Arnold first help start the Community Health Representative program. He also worked various construction jobs and as a ranch hand for various ranchers.
Arnold is survived by his children: Kenneth Clown and family of Thunder Butte, Sarah Clown and Family of Seattle, Wash, Arnold Clown, Jr. and Family of Thunder Butte, Ronald Clown of Dupree, Vincent Cloud Eagle of Eagle Butte and Royce Clown and family of Dupree; his brother: Eldon Clown; two sisters: Zeralda Boone and Lynne Clown and numerous nieces, nephews, grandchildren and great grandchildren
He was preceded in death by his father, Raymond; mother, Sarah Marrow Bone; sister, Imogene High Elk; brothers, Ronnie Clown and Kermit Clown and a son, Jaime Clown.
Casketbearers will be Kenneth Clown, Arnold Clown, Jr., Ronald Clown, Vincent Cloud Eagle, Royce Clown, Austin Dupris, Trudell Hill and Marvin Clown.
