Barbara Hahler

Barbara J. Hahler, 66, of Faulkton, passed away Wednesday, September 9, 2020 at Avera McKennan Hospital, Sioux Falls.
Funeral services was held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, September 19, 2020 at Our Savior Lutheran Church, Faulkton, with Pastor LeShea Avery. Burial followed in the Faulkton Cemetery.
Barbara Jean Conley was born August 28, 1954 in Aberdeen, SD to Richard and Delores (Olsen) Conley. She attended Aberdeen Central High School. After 9th grade she was awarded a six-week scholarship to attend an art camp at the University of Kansas. She graduated from Aberdeen Central in 1972. Following graduation Barb continued her education at Montana State University in Bozeman, MT where she received her bachelor’s degree in art and education.
Barb is survived by her husband, Don Hahler of Faulkton; her children, Colton (Alex) Hahler and Kylee Amato of Minneapolis, MN; and her mother, Delores Conley of Aberdeen.
She was preceded in death by her father, Richard Conley and her grandparents: Reider and Rose Olsen and Edward C. Sr. and Lillian Conley.
Memorial donations may be given at Dacotah Bank of Faulkton. The family would like to thank the entire Faulkton community for their care and support of Barb.
Luce Funeral Home of Faulkton has been entrusted with Barbara’s arrangements.

I got to know Barb pretty well when I worked at Faulkton School. She was a special person with a big heart! Sending hugs to Don, Colton. Kylee and families. Keep the good memories all close to your heart.

Barb has been a friend and fellow teacher for many years. She was always ready to lend a helping hand when asked. She will be missed.
