Benjamin Hawk Eagle, 66, of Eagle Butte, passed away Sunday, April 25, 2001 at Avantara Mountain View, Rapid City.

Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. MDT, Tuesday, May 4, 2021 at CRST Bingo Hall, Eagle Butte with Deacon Harold Condon presiding. A wake service will be at 7:00 p.m., Monday, May 3, 2021 at the bingo hall with a procession from the 4-Mile at 4:00 p.m. Burial will follow at Black Hills National Cemetery, Sturgis with full military honors.

Benjamin is survived by his children: Thomas (Sammi), Lenora, Brandon, Francine (Corey), Frankie, and Matilda (Rocky); grandchildren: Judson, Tommy, Harlee, Louie, Lance, Hunter, Dexter, Tien, Unique, Tucker, Jauslen, Jjavon, Mia Hayden, Rock, Tayababy, Camren, Jozee, Lia Macy, Lacy, Bodes, and Avon; great grandchildren: Jiles and Syncere; siblings: Marilyn (Abe) Kasto, Karen LeBeau, and Inez (Roger) Roether.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Bernadine F. Hawk Eagle; parents: Benjamin Hawk Eagle Sr. and Elinor Blue Coat; grandparents: Thomas and Nellie Hawk Eagle; and siblings: Donovan, Frank, Darrell, Allen, Phillip Blue Coat Jr., Doris, and Frances; and nephew, PFC Sheldon Hawk Eagle.

Luce Funeral Home has been entrusted with Benjamin’s arrangements.
