Corinne Dahlquist, 98, of Lebanon, SD, passed away Saturday, November 11, 2023, at the Avera Oahe Manor, Gettysburg.
Funeral Mass will be 10:30 a.m., Monday, November 20, 2023, at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church, Hoven, with Fr. Brian Simon presiding. Burial will follow in St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery, Lebanon.
Corinne Marie Dienslake was born August 25, 1925, to Charles and Irene (Miesen) Dienslake in Faulkton, SD. The family resided in Lebanon, SD, where she attended school and graduated from high school.
After her graduation, her family moved to Portland, Oregon. Corinne returned to Lebanon a short time later, and she was married to Carl Dahlquist. They lived on a small farm northeast of Lebanon, where they raised their four children. Corinne resided on the farm until 2021, when she moved to the Avera Oahe Manor in Gettysburg.
Corinne is survived by her four children: Dianna (Craig) Malone, Dallas, TX, Sue (Jeff) Moore, Dickinson, ND, Dick (Geri) Dahlquist, Rapid City, and Bob Dahlquist, Lebanon; six grandchildren; and eight great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, and a sister.
Memorials in Corinne’s honor may be directed to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
Luce Funeral Home of Gettysburg has been entrusted with Corinne’s arrangements.

Deepest Sympathy to Corrinne's Family. She was a wonderful lady and neighbor. She was involved in many ways in St. Mary's Church in Lebanon. She was one of the CCD teachers for many years. She had a big heart. She was one of the kindest people I knew. Go Rest High on the Mountain. Rest in Peace.
