Enjoyed days spent with Evy when I was in her field. She was such a joy and always fed us with something spiritual.
Thinking of you. Thankful it was my privilege to know Evie when I was in your area. Glad to think of her race being run and her goal attained with victory.
With sympathy, Sharon Williams
Dear Friends of Evelyn,
I have known Evelyn for some time and taking care of her at Faulkton was a treat. She was likeing to keep track of friends at Ipswich etc. She was a caring person and she seriously love the Lord. I feel fortunate to have been able to care for her.

My memories of Evie go back to my childhood (1950’s). Remember going to the Post Office, of course. She was ever and always so cheerful and nice! Remember going to Rhyllis Sylte’s bridal shower at her house when Jocelyn and I were very young — we thought we were so grown up to be included! Then a few years before she moved out of her house, I was home visiting my family and she invited Mom (Leta) and I to her home on a Sunday afternoon. I left a note for Dad that we were going to her house for “tea and crumpets” which, of course, was coffee and pie! This is a bit long, but such fond memories. End of an era.
