Gladys E. Myers, 99, of Faulkton passed away Wednesday, January 7, 2026, at Faulkton Area Medical Center.
A memorial service will be 2:00 p.m., Saturday, January 17, 2026, at Luce Funeral Home, Faulkton with Pastor Tim Daub presiding. Burial will follow in the Faulkton Cemetery. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service.
Gladys E. Zuber was born January 30, 1926, in Gettysburg, South Dakota, to William and Clara (Larson) Zuber. She grew up in the Gettysburg and Faulkton area and graduated from Faulkton High School.
On June 2, 1946, Gladys was united in marriage to Everett Myers. The couple farmed in the Faulkton–Burkmere area for many years before moving into Faulkton in 1980.
From 1983 to 2005, Gladys, along with Theresa Bach, owned and operated Stop and Shop, a consignment shop in Faulkton. In her free time, Gladys enjoyed gardening and had a special love for flowers, which she tended with great care.
Gladys is survived by her children: Wanda (Paul) Jundt of Eureka, Gloria (Ron) Sievert of Jasper, MN, Nancy (Kevin) Koester of Faulkton, and Peggy Miller of Frankfort, SD; 15 grandchildren; and many great and great-great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Everett in 2007; son-in-law, Dennis Miller; and her seven siblings.
Luce Funeral Home of Faulkton has been entrusted with Gladys’ arrangements.
