Glenda Sangster, 70, of Faulkton, passed away Friday, November 13, 2020 at Avera St. Luke's Hospital in Aberdeen.

Memorial Service was held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, November 21, 2020 at the United Church of Faulkton with Pastor Thomas Sumers presiding. 

Glenda was born September 28, 1950 in Faulkton, SD to Glen and June (Halter) Sangster. She attended Faulkton School and went onto Stewarts School of Hairstyling in Aberdeen.

She returned to Faulkton, marrying Duane Aesoph. To this union two sons were born, Dale and Craig. Glenda worked on the farm where she helped Duane and spent a lifetime of caring for Dale. She later worked for Phyliss Traver as a waitress at the 212 Café.

Glenda will be remembered for her love of cooking and baking. She also enjoyed a good cup of coffee with friends.

In 1989 she reunited with Cecil Holdren. They spent the next 31 years cherishing their life together.

Glenda’s life will be cherished by her son, Craig Aesoph, Aberdeen; grandchildren: Jacob, Devin, Brody, and Kylla Aesoph; special friend: Cecil Holdren, Faulkton; brother, Dean (Alice) Sangster, Faulkton; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Dale Aesoph; brother, Ronnie; and sisters: Phyllis Traver and Karen (infant).

Luce Funeral Home of Faulkton has been entrusted with Glenda's arrangements.
