Jada Jeunesse, 38, of Rapid City, passed away, Monday, May 23, 2011 at the Rapid City Regional Hospital.
An all-night wake began with a prayer services at 7:00 p.m. MDT Sunday, June 5, 2011, at the Cherry Creek Community Building.
Jada is survived by her father: Sylvester (Dena) Waloke; her children: Hoksila Arappahoe, Arianna Steele, & Keaton Jeunesse; brother: Moreno Waloke and Jeryn Big Eagle; sisters: September, Gabra, Hildred, Yolanda, Edith, Amy, Iverne, Sammi and Kace Waloke; Aunts: Clementine Big Eagle, Arlene Demery, Gloria & Rita Herrald; uncles: Franklin Bear Running, Clifford Demery, Maurice Big Eagle, Victor & Chuck Herrald, Vernelle Sitting Crow, Orris & James Bear Stops; and her grandfather: Romanus Bear Stops.
She was preceded in death by her mother: Kathleen Bear Stops; paternal grandparents: Frank & Edith Waloke, Theophile & Myrtle Little Shield and Ted Knife; cousins: Vern Koenig Bear Looks Running and Danielle Pretends Eagle; uncle: Richard Herrald; aunt: Irene Traversie; nephew: Gary Lee Waloke and grandchildren: Zintkala Zi & Zintkala To.
Luce Funeral Chapel of Eagle Butte has been entrusted with Jada’s arrangements.
