  7. My Grandpa BJ Gall's sister, Christina married Jacob Trautman. While living in Fairfax, I grew up with William's children (Duane was my classmate). My dad often took us to Trautman Island to purchase melons. I remember the dip we drove through to get onto the island at low tide and the house on a flat bottom boat affair tied to a tree where the family lived. My mother took me with her to visit John's dad who was bedfast in his home north of the Fairfax school. John would be about 6 years younger than me but I recall a number of children in the house during our visit. My mother was Elsie (Gall) Thurstenson.
