Kayde Cavanaugh

Kayde Brynee Cavanaugh, infant son, was born on December 7, 2024, to Kayson Cavanaugh and Francina Carr at the Tuba City Regional Health Care Center, in Tuba City, Arizona. Sadly, Kayde also went to be with the Lord on December 7, 2024, due to PPROM complications during pregnancy. 

Even though his time on earth was limited, he is still loved immensely and will forever be in the hearts of everyone who eagerly awaited his arrival.  Kayde Brynee was laid to rest next to his Uncle Frankie Carr Jr., at the Tuba City Community Cemetery in Tuba City, Arizona. 

Kayde is survived by his Mommy and Daddy, Francina Carr and Kayson Cavanaugh and a brother Riley Yazzie of Tuba City, Arizona; his maternal grandparents: Frankie Sr. and Rose Carr also of Tuba City, Arizona; paternal grandparents: Kendrow and Jamie Eagle Chasing of Eagle Butte, SD; great-grandparents: Greg and the late Shelly Thompson of LaPlant, SD and Frankie and Connie Cavanaugh of Eagle Butte, SD.  Kayde also has numerous Unci’s, Lala’s, Aunties, Uncles, and cousins spanning from North Dakota all the way down to Arizona. 

Kayde is proceeded in death by his great grandmother, Shelly Thompson; great grandparents: John and Ella Bennett and George and Mae Carr; uncles: Logan Davis Thompson and Frankie Carr Jr.; aunts: Wakanja Thompson and Jeri L’Lyn Cavanaugh. 

Funeral/Memorial services will be 4:00 p.m. MST, Sunday, December 15, 2024, at The Landmark in Eagle Butte and will be officiated by Great-Grandma Billie Rose Garreaux. Supper will follow. Cards can be sent to Kayson and Francina Cavanaugh, PO Box 1164, Tuba City, AZ 86045
