Linda C. Addison, 65, of Eagle Butte passed away from her 4-year struggle with cancer Saturday, May 31, 2025, at her home surrounded by family.
Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. MDT, Wednesday, June 4, 2025, at CRST Bingo Hall, Eagle Butte. There will be a procession from the 4 Mile at 10:00 a.m.
Linda C. Addison was born October 3, 1959, at the Old Agency, SD to Cecil Sr. and Amy (Iron Lightning) Curley. She grew up in Iron Lighting and attended school at Flandreau Indian School and Cheyenne Eagle Butte.
In 1981, Linda met and fell in love with Steve Brown Wolf. They have been blessed with the last 44 years together. Throughout her life she worked at CRST Head Start, Taco John’s, CRST Law Enforcement, LTM, CRST Nutrition, and as a flagger during road construction.
Linda enjoyed life to its fullest, playing bingo, completing word finds, cooking, dancing, and listening to music. She especially loved getting to spend time with her many grandchildren.
Linda is survived by her husband, Steve Brown Wolf; her children: Janna Brown Wolf, Ervin Cecil, and Francis Jr.; grandchildren: Aaron, William, Jonah, Molly Marie, Kyla, Joeylynn, Tacoma, Layla, Elijah, Ciden, Kaiius, Roselie, Lydia, Cecil Jr., Royalle II, Shauntey, Eitaun, Winter, Francis III, Aquila, Drake, Brooklyn, Boston, Bronson, Shyne, Collin Jr., Joseph, Micheal; hunka daughters: Carmen Annis and Tallie Jo Condon; hunka son, Taten Ducheneaux; siblings: Cecil Jr., Keith, Irving, Amelia, Melissa and Rose; and many cousins, friends, and relatives.
She was preceded by in death by her parents; sons: Collin Addison Jr. and Joseph Jacob Brown Wolf; siblings: Arlen, Grace, Kenneth, Andy, Myron, Danny, and Joan; nieces: SherRon, Jonnelle, Tessa, and Jean; and nephews: Terry, Jerry, Grant, and Courtney.
Luce Funeral Home of Gettysburg has been entrusted with Linda’s arrangements.

My sincerest condolences to Linda's family and friends. Linda was always such a warm-hearted person and treated everybody with respect. I got to know Linda through work. She always had a smile on her face. I am so sorry to hear that she has taken her journey. Sending prayers to her family, especially my old classmate Ervin.
