Linda Mae McGrath, 71, of Hoven, passed away, Wednesday, June 15, 2022, at the Bowdle Hospital.
Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, June 21, 2022, at the Tolstoy Wesleyan Church, Tolstoy, with Pastor Matt Pribyl presiding. Burial will follow in the Gettysburg Cemetery. A prayer service will be 7:00 p.m., Monday, June 20, 2022, at Luce Funeral Home, Gettysburg, with visitation one-hour prior.
Linda Mae Radensleben was born November 7, 1950 in Alexandria, SD to Harold and Clara (Stransky) Radensleben in her grandparents’ house. Linda attended school in Alexandria through the 6th grade. The family moved to west Chicago, IL where she finished her education graduating from high school.
In 1971, Linda returned to South Dakota. She lived in the Hoven and Spearfish areas. While living in Hoven, Linda was the assistant manager for Hoven Prairie Stop. When not working, she enjoyed bowling, playing bingo, working in her flower beds, and caring for her fur babies.
Linda’s life will forever be cherished by her children: Peggy, George (Kathy), and Laura Bryant all of Hoven; her grandchildren: Chasity, Trenton, Kiona, Amanda (Mike), and Jessica (Robert); great-grandchildren: Jordan, April, Michelle “Shelly”, Ryp, Rowan, Karson, Brandon, and Mercy; sister, Nancy Colby; sister-in-law, Joyce Radensleben; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers: LeRoy and Leonard; and infant sister, Lucinda.
Luce Funeral Home of Gettysburg has been entrusted with Linda’s arrangements.
